Cast UK is hiring a Head of Supply Chain to oversee end to end supply chain activities for our West Yorkshire based FMCG client.

What does the role involve?

  • Managing end to end supply chain operations for the business, overseeing teams across Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Customer Service and Logistics
  • Assuming ownership for the S&OP process and risk mitigation across the Supply Chain
  • Working with Sales and Commercial teams to develop an accurate demand forecast
  • Overseeing order management and inventory levels to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full
  • Controlling all inbound/outbound freight to/from Europe and the Far East
  • Playing a key role on the senior leadership team including developing future business strategy

Ideal Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in an end to end supply chain leadership role within FMCG
  • Expertise in demand planning, inventory management and international freight / logistics
  • Significant experience of Far East supply chains / outsourced manufacturing
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
  • Honed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong leadership and management skills
