M&E Surveyor

We are currently recruiting a M&E surveyor to join a client focused team to work across various sectors, including healthcare, retail, commercial offices, education.This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive M&E surveyor who is familiar with producing M&E reports, is proficient in identifying M&E Assets/Systems and providing advice to the existing team in the delivery of various projects and condition surveys. In essence the role will be providing element capture, verification, life cycling and written reports.Role Responsibilities• Undertaking M&E Surveys & condition surveys • Pre-acquisition surveys • Dilapidation surveys • 10-year PPM schedules • Monitoring M&E works on site and reporting on conformity and quality • Carrying out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures. • Comply with established commercial/procurement/ contractual strategies. • To comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards. • Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control team • Developing Commercial Strategies • Undertake Quality Monitoring and Clerk of Works roles on behalf of clients• Assist the in-house M&E design department in the production of reports, specifications and designs.Qualifications• Ideally a Building Services degree• Recognised M&E qualifications• Member of a recognised professional body such as CIBSE or the IET etc and working towards being CharteredExperience• Track record in a similar role or a background in FM or site engineering• Asset surveying, identification, age/remaining life estimation• Technical due diligence work• Use of technology, such as tablets, in previous roles• Use of relevant software such as Excel• A strong understanding of M&E systems and the ability to understand design documents• The ability to use AutoCad software would be desired but not essentialBehaviours• Recognised as a client focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support to their peers and seniors. Recognised as a team player with a strong willingness to learn• Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results
