Exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer with experience within Tooling/Body Component/Welding Industries.Field based role covering Leeds/Darlington and the North.Our client specialises in the Automotive market, supplying products to Distributors/Car Body Shops/Garages

Job Descriptionā€¢ Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunitiesā€¢ Working with Sales teams from Bodyshop Distributors.ā€¢ Conducting site visits, technical consultations, product demonstrationsā€¢ Visiting Body Shops to Introduce Technical Productsā€¢ Selling Bodyshop Tools to Distributorsā€¢ Offering exceptional customer servicesā€¢ Collaborating with Internal teams (Technical Support/Customer Services)ā€¢ Working to key performance targets and managing the sales process

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the welding/car body or industrial consumables sector.Technical knowledge of welding consumables and related equipment is highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.A self-motivated, results-driven attitude with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.Aptitude for practically demonstrating machineryEnthusiasm and self-motivation with the ability to work under pressureAbility to communicate well in all situations and at all levels of an organisationAbility to build trusted relationships both face-to-face and via the telephone or onlineA patient, persistent and results-orientated attitude with the ability to handle rejectionAn organised approach to sales management with good knowledge of relevant computer programs e.g., CRM softwareFull, clean driving license.A well-rounded education to GCSE standard 4+ including English and Maths
