Radio Paging & Communications Commissioning Engineer
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

A leading international security provider is seeking a Radio Paging & Communications Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge communication systems while delivering top-notch service and solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve service calls and perform maintenance visits as required.
  • Maintain and manage company vehicle and stock.
  • Provide on-call support according to rota, with flexible hours.
  • Travel to client sites across the Leeds and West Yorkshire region.
  • Assist installation technicians and service personnel to meet company objectives.
Experience Required:
  • 2+ years' experience with Radio Communication Systems (DECT, UHF, IP Telephony).
  • 5+ years in the security or communications industry.
  • Strong IT knowledge, including TCP/IP, Windows/DOS, and database management (Access/SQL).
  • Familiarity with RS485, Ethernet networks, and tools.
  • Clean driving license and the ability to obtain security clearance.
Person Specification:
  • Proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills and customer service experience.
  • Comfortable in clinical, secure, and custodial environments.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to identify sales leads (commission available).
