Excellent opportunities working for one of the UK’s fastest growing retail and e-commerce business’s. Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, sales, and performance of multiple retail stores within a designated geographic region through a team of Area Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor the performance of 150+ stores within the Region, ensuring they meet and exceed sales, profitability, and customer service targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor Area performance through regular reviews and analysis of sales data, customer and colleague satisfaction metrics, and operational targets.
- Revenue Generation: Drive sales performance across the Region by implementing agreed strategies aligned with the Division and company to increase revenue.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage Region budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and management of cost delivering financial targets.
- P&L Accountability: Assume full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the Region, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate Area managers and their teams, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Retail management experience, with exposure to a multi-unit or regional management role.
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage large teams across multiple locations.
- Sales and Business Development: Expertise in driving sales performance, developing growth strategies, and implementing new business initiatives.
- Operational Management: Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and store layout optimisation.
