A dynamic, fast-growing health and safety consultancy with a prestigious portfolio of high-profile projects is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join their team. This exciting role will support a range of clients along the M1 corridor, including Coventry, Luton, and Watford, focusing on Risk Management.

The Health & Safety Consultant Role

As a Health & Safety Consultant, you will:

  • Develop and agree on a "scope of work" with clients, ensuring clear expectations and timelines.
  • Produce risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, and policies.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and accident investigations, providing reports and aiding in legal defence preparation if required.
  • Support in acquiring new health & safety business and retaining existing clients.
  • Help clients integrate and operate the company's online Health & Safety Management System (xCenta).
  • Create and deliver risk management strategies for your clients and support colleagues with theirs.
  • Provide training, technical support, and represent both the company and clients when dealing with enforcing authorities or insurance companies.
  • Undertake noise assessments, vibration assessments, and safe air testing (training provided).
  • Be prepared for occasional travel and overnight stays.

The Health & Safety Consultant

  • Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH National Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Health & Safety experience in any of the following sectors: motor trade, haulage, or commercial warehouses.
  • A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
