An exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety administrator / coordinator to join the UK's market leading independent distributor in a diverse position where you will gain internal and external training alongside career progression.

This well-established nationwide company specialise in the distribution of building products. Holding the title of the largest independent material distributor they have a reputation for supplying the highest quality materials and therefore have become the distributor of choice.
This company invest in people and offer the chance to gain additional health and safety qualifications such a NEBOSH. Due to period of high growth they are now looking to recruit a HSEQ Coordinator.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with some Health and Safety experience to join a renowned company where you will have the chance to learn on the job, gain additional qualifications and have a clear progression route to management level.

You will be responsible for coordinating health and safety throughout the business. This is an office based position and you will oversee day-to-day management of all incident and accident reports, ensure compliance is up to date and standard and scheduling employee training requirements. You will also build good relationships with branches assisting with any queries they might have.

The idea candidate will have some Health and Safety qualification like IOSH, with a warehousing, fleet, logistics or distribution background looking to join an exciting role with a company who can offer further training, qualifications and progression.

  • Health and Safety Coordination

The Person

  • Experience in incident investigation
  • IOSH Qualification, NEBOSH is beneficial
