What you will be doing:
路Lead the preparation and delivery of transport assessments, travel plans, and transport strategies for a wide range of development projects.
路Provide technical leadership on complex transport planning matters, ensuring high-quality outputs.
路Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for development-related transport planning projects.
路Oversee and contribute to junction capacity assessments and modelling using software such as Junctions 10 (PICADY/ARCADY), LinSig, and TRICS.
路Take responsibility for project management, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
路Lead engagement with local authorities, stakeholders, and developers, supporting planning applications and transport strategies.
路Mentor and develop junior team members, providing technical guidance and career support.
路Contribute to business development, including tender preparation and identifying new opportunities.
路Support public inquiries, appeals, and expert witness work when required.

What experience you need:
路Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
路Proven track record of managing projects and teams, with the ability to lead on technical delivery.
路Strong understanding of UK transport planning policies, development control processes, and stakeholder engagement.
路Proficiency in transport modelling software, including Junctions 10, LinSig, and TRICS.
路Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports, presenting to clients, and attending public consultations.
路Ability to develop new business opportunities and contribute to company growth.
