The Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Installation & Commissioning:Â Take charge of installing and commissioning state-of-the-art food production systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly from the start.
- Maintenance & Support: Provide top-notch preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping systems at peak performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge Enhancement: Travel to the company’s head office in Europe occasionally to stay on top of the latest technological advancements and bring fresh insights to the team.
- Team Collaboration:Â Work closely with the UK team and interact with international colleagues to deliver exceptional service and support.
- Administrative Duties:Â Keep accurate service reports and manage travel expenses efficiently.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience At least five years in the food production industry or a related field, with a solid background in service engineering.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills, with experience in Siemens PLC controls a plus.
- Travel Ready: Comfortable with extensive travel within the UK & Ireland and occasionally further afield.
- Customer-Focused: Committed to delivering excellent customer service and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible: Open to occasional irregular hours and travel requirements.
- Qualifications: Valid driving license and fluent in English.
What’s on Offer:
Competitive Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 base salary, with the potential to earn up to £65,000 with overtime.
