As a Vehicle Technician you'll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, working within a fast-paced and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
- Perform routine services, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Keep accurate records of work carried out.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians and workshop staff.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, either in a main dealer or independent workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A valid UK driving license.
Desirable Skills (Not Essential):
- MOT Tester certification.
