Milk Education are working in partnership with a charity in Leeds (Headingley) that aims to offer employment opportunities and education to adult learners with Autism. The charity are recruiting for a Maths Tutor to work Mondays and Tuesdays (To start as soon as possible). Your role at this charity will be to deliver the Maths Lessons, using the plethora of resources on site which are available to you, with the aim that all students leave with a Functional Skills Maths Qualification.

Maths Tutor roles and responsibilities:

  • Planning and Delivering one to one sessions and small group sessions to pupils aged between 18-25
  • Ability to deliever engaing lessons
  • Adhering to all charity policies

Requirements for the role

  • Hold QTS or QTLS
  • Working knowledge of national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes.
  • Ability to plan effective lessons
  • Expert knowledge of Autism
