NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision based in West Leeds who are looking for a Health & Social Care Teacher who is also able to teach PSHE to cover a maternity contract starting from May 2025 and for a minimum of 1 year.

This is a Specialist Provision that is based in LS12 and caters for pupils with SEMH needs. This would be to teach KS4 Health & Social Care and PSHE Lessons.

Teachers applying for this role must be available full-time and must be able to teach both PSHE & Health and Social Care. Experience working with SEMH Learners in a specialist provision is also preferable.

Successful applications will have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) in the UK with a specialism in PSHE / Health & Social Care
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
