Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Design, maintain, and update PHP-based websites, including WordPress platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and mobile-first design
• Work closely with clients and the wider development team to transform business goals into intuitive, user-friendly experiences
• Drive innovation. Suggest and implement improvements to existing websites while staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
• Prepare UAT environments for client approval and provide accurate project estimates
• Problem-solve. Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable developer with a balance of back-end and front-end expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience of -

• PHP, MySQL, MVC frameworks (preferably Zend), and responsive design principles
• HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap
• WordPress expertise. Custom theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and payment gateways
• Tools & platforms such as GIT, cPanel, and experience with Magento theme creation
• Ability to convert designs from tools like Adobe Photoshop into functional web pages
• Confidence in presenting to clients and collaborating effectively, this will initially be a smaller part of the role
