I currently have the pleasure of working with an established developer in the housing and healthcare sectors. They are looking for a senior Technical Coordinator to focus primarily on the pre-construction stage of development. You will be working alongside the Technical Manger to ensure successful delivery of designs, surveys, and ensuring compliance and safety are met. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing technical project documentation and undertaking some administrative tasks.
  • Review, understand and present information on drawings, specifications, site investigations, surveys, and other critical documents.
  • Negotiate, enquire and challenge statutory bodies on technical issues including environmental, drainage, highways and other.
  • Ensure services procurement, quotes and designs are secured prior to site exchanges,
  • Assist in the production of technical reports and contract drawings.
    Work closely with internal and external professionals to support project success.
  • Participate in quality control processes and review project deliverables.
  • Report on technical requirements before planning permission is secured.
  • Attend and present in handover meetings.
  • Implement new ideas and methods to improve the organisation's goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in all phases of construction, preferably within the residential sector.
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of sites and a wide variety of projects.
  • Ability to prioritise, negotiate, motivate and communicate.
  • Good time management, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
  • Achieve restrictive deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Awareness and understanding of planning, financial and legal processes.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good IT literacy in Word, Excel and emails.
