Department: Medical Nutrition

The Analytics and Insights Manager role at AYMES is pivotal in the organisation. In this role, you will fuel the growth of AYMES in the medical nutrition space and beyond. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes and customer needs.

You will serve as an internal business strategy consultant, ensuring that analytics and insights are built to deliver the foundations of our business strategy and execution.

The key to success in this role will be your ability to build complex data sets and overlay this with analytic skills to convey research findings, using these to drive actions across the business levels and functions.

Key responsibilities:

You will be part of a multi-functional team, supporting leadership, commercial, marketing and research teams to deliver their business and departmental objectives

You will support the leadership team with strategy development and execution

Discover business growth opportunities through data integration from various sourcing, building relevant models and frameworks.

Driving strong business recommendations by translating and visualising complex data into simple and actionable conclusions

Challenging the status quo, using your curiosity to uncover new ways to unlock growth

You will support across the business and as part of cross-functional teams with insights and data to deliver sound decision-making.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelors degree in data science, marketing or statistics (or similar)

A minimum of 5 years experience in a proactive, hands-on, data-driven role

Sound analytical skills with experience in using multiple data sources, apps and connectors to deliver breakthrough results

Advanced, hands-on experience in using data visualisation and transformation tools (e.g. Qlik, Power BI or similar) and managing integrations with other apps to create unified self-service business tools

A strong data-led storyteller with the ability to present findings and translate them into business actions, coupled with experience in influencing across all levels and functions

Hands-on experience of integrations with other tools, for example, CRM systems (Salesforce)

A passion for research and insights with strong observation skills and strategic thinking

A can-do attitude with strong collaboration skills, with the ability to develop action-orientation recommendations across the business and drive accountability

An interest and willingness to take on a deep understanding of a wide range of markets, not limited to core markets, sectors and regions, but having the curiosity and big picture thinking to look beyond the current landscape
