The Commercial Manager role at AYMES will lead the delivery of strategic, commercial projects which support business growth and success.

This role combines commercial and NHS/public sector expertise to bridge the gap between strategy and delivery. You will lead a portfolio of high-profile projects critical for our success. This exciting role within the business sits at the heart of the medical nutrition team, driving change and delivering growth.

Key responsibilities:

As Commercial Manager, you will be focused on achieving business results, ensuring that project goals align with the AYMES mission & objectives. You will collaborate across the team to execute project delivery. You will liaise internally and externally, with the ability to identify and interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support the development of engagement activities to support your portfolio of strategic projects.

Supported by project management, you will lead and deliver strategic projects and the development of our strategic project roadmap; your role is to ensure that projects stay on track. You will be resourceful in identifying the best person to collaborate with to make progress and be hands-on in delivering the project. You will be commercially minded, able to see the big picture, and can assist the team in translating objectives into actions.

Qualifications & experience:

Background and sector experience within healthcare and medical nutrition is a plus but not essential.

Previous experience in a commercial role as a supplier to either the NHS or another area within the public sector.

Understanding what it means to be a supplier public sector, with strong commercial insight and exposure to project delivery within the NHS or similar environments.

Previous experience in tender or bid management, tender completion and delivery

Understanding of commercial modelling and P&Ls

Understanding of public sector procurement and supply

Experience driving new projects or initiatives in healthcare or a similar industry that drives change.

Commercially minded, with the ability to translate commercial benefits to the financial outcomes of the business.

Can demonstrate the ability to work in complex, fast-changing environments

Ability to express complex ideas clearly and compellingly to both internal & external stakeholders.

Strong leadership & influencing skills.

Ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrable experience in delivering change projects.

A confident communicator with excellent story-telling skills

A natural salesperson

Experience in stakeholder engagement and confidence in liaising at different levels.

Ability and experience in managing multiple projects and strong prioritisation skills

Excellent attention to detail
