Job Title:CNC Turner Setter Operator
Shift:Day Shift,Monday to Thursday - 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday - 7:00am to 12:00pm
Rate:15 - 18p/h
The Job
- Setting, and operating machines
- Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files
- Maintain clean and tidy stations
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.
- XYZ controls
- G codes
- Training is available!
Requirements
- Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
- Relevant Engineering Qualification
- Ideally Apprentice Trained
- Working to tight tolerances
- Experience of working with a wide range of materials including , Inconel, titanium, mild steels, brass, aluminium-bronze, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Team Player
- Flexible
