Have you got an interest in continuous improvement and sustainability? Are you good with people, and data analysis?

The business is a world leading manufacturer of a specialist range of fine chemicals. Graduates have done very well there before, and been given responsibility.

The main role will be to support key people in the business and help to ensure product compliance within a global market.

You’ll be helping to drive a continuous improvement culture that is not only sustainable but achieves exceptional productivity and quality performance.

And there will be a focus on sustainabilty, too: you’ll be playing your part in working towards Net Zero, as there are carbon reduction projects to implement.

You’ll be reporting sustainability trends against objectives and key results. And coming up with creative alternatives and recommendations to support continued development and execution of the sustainability strategies.

There will be lots of certification and documents to work on, and you’ll be monitoring updates and changes.

You will be helping with data collection for the global business, and generating data for the published sustainability credentials

You’ll be an integral part of monthly review meetings and there will be an annual report to prepare too.

WHAT DO YOU NEED...

There is some flexibility in degree type. Though it should have some relevance to sustainability, geography, or science (preferably Chemistry).

As you’ll be making sure that things are compliant, it goes without saying that you’ll need good attention to detail.

And strong analysis skills are needed, with the ability to accurately present statistical information.

And you should be comfortable speaking with people, as at times you’ll be presenting findings to group and delivering presentations. And there will be some persuasion too, as you look to bring people on board.

WHERE YOU'LL BE DOING IT...

Location is Leek, and commutable from Macclesfield, Stoke, and Ashbourne and you will need to be already based within 15 miles or so. Or if you are easily able to relocate due to connections in the area that is ok, but please do mention it on your application.
