QESH Specialist/Manager

Are you passionate about quality, environmental, health, and safety (QESH) management? We are seeking a skilled and driven QESH Specialist/Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our customer's quality and safety standards. In this key role, you'll ensure that our site complies with all industry regulations, customer requirements, and environmental, health, and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety systems such as BRC, ISO14001, FSC, and ISCC.
  • Lead internal and external audits, including BRC, ISO, environmental, and customer audits.
  • Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), including HACCP, and support interdepartmental functions.
  • Champion environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives, ensuring site adherence to legal and company standards.
  • Oversee site hygiene, food safety, GMP, and health and safety improvements.
  • Act as the key technical contact for customers, suppliers, and third-party relationships, including certifications and accreditations.
  • Coordinate training for staff on EHS topics like manual handling, fire safety, and permit-to-work training.
  • Foster a positive food safety culture and drive continuous improvements in QESH systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Food Sciences or related field.
  • Proven expertise in food safety and quality management, with 5+ years of experience in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Experience as a food safety certification auditor and maintaining food safety certifications.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver presentations to large groups.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and relevant food safety regulations.
