What you’ll be doing:
- Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
- Providing day-to-day support while ensuring the highest safeguarding and care standards are met.
- Leading shifts, mentoring team members, and overseeing placement plans, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborating with external professionals to support the educational, emotional, and physical wellbeing of children in care.
- Acting as a role model to both staff and young people while helping maintain a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
What you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential childcare.
- A valid manual driving licence.
- Commitment to creating positive outcomes for children and young people.
