ATA is supporting a large manufacturing group who are looking to add an experienced line maintenance technician to their team. With over 200 years of experience, this group has a well-established history of delivering sustainable packaging products to various industries, including Food, Beverage, Retail and E-commerce. The group are a true global leader within their field, operating across 40 plants in 17 countries, employ over 6,000 staff and turnover an impressive £2billion.

This site in Leicestershire has been at the heart of the community for over 40 years with a lot of their employees being at the site for near its full tenure including the plant manager who started on the shop floor. The site has always offered a great place to work and with investment plans on the horizon, it will soon become the groups UKs flagship site. 

What does a day to day look like for a maintenance Electrician on site?

As a maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of PLC controlled automated production machinery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing planned preventive maintenance
  • Reacting to breakdowns
  • Electrical fault finding.
  • Electrical installations
  • Undertaking project work which can include upgrade and new machine installation.
