My client, a leader in the purpose build student accommodation industry, is seeking an efficient and detail orientated accommodation manager to join their team on a temporary basis. With an expanding portfolio across the UK and over Europe they offer unique and extensive services to the student population. Operating through a customer-first approach your role will centre around ensuring the smooth running of the site and the staff within the building, providing optimal care for residents. guests and visitors alike.

Duties:

  • Ensure the smooth running of operation throughout the building
  • Operate a customer-first approach for guests, residents and visitors alike
  • Process direct enquiries and rental interests via various channels
  • Manage the utilization/occupancy of the student rooms
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct detailed room inspections
  • Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and vendors as necessary
  • Administer and manage the staff at the respective location on a day-to-day basis
  • Control the budget of all inquiries and supplies
  • Organize the office, including all administrative preparatory and follow-up activities
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities related to the student accommodation and provide reporting and analysis as requested by the management team

What we need from you:

  • Several years of professional experience in a management position (PBSA or BTR preferred)
  • Demonstration of exceptional customer service 
  • Ability to work within and manage a team successfully 
  • Fluent English, written and spoken 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • The ability to operate a hands-on approach and deliver a high level of service to residents 
  • Capability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
