Role: Management AccountantLocation: LeicesterSalary: £40,000Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5
Our client, a global freight forwarder, is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to its existing finance team. This role becoming available due to the retirement of the existing staff member.
Duties for the Management Accountant:
- day to day accounts in GBP, Euro and Dollar
- weekly cash flow
- month end close of ledgers
- bank reconciliations
- processing of pensions and payrolls
- monthly reporting to the FD
- quarterly VAT
- stock sheet preparations
- petty cash, credit cards and expenses
- point of contact for external audit teams
- monitor budgets and forecasts
Experience for the Management Accountant:
- AAT qualified
- previous management accounts experience
- drive and energy
- excellent communication skills
- familair with accounting software packages
