We are seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice in Leicester. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to develop their skills within a dynamic and supportive team. You will work with a diverse client base, managing both audit and accounting assignments from planning to completion.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing audits for a range of clients across various industries.
  • Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Reviewing and finalising audit files in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Overseeing and supporting junior team members, ensuring high-quality work and development.
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
  • Assisting with corporate tax computations and VAT returns where required.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist.
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong focus on audit and accounts.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
