Assistant Management Accountant - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Leicester - Up to £35,000 per annum

Macildowie are partnering with a well-respected and well-known manufacturing business based in Leicester to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant vacancy on a 12 month FTC basis.

This position will be based onsite 5 days per week, and will be based in their Leicester office.

The type of candidate that my client is looking for is a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant as this role will be essential in providing key accounting support and report production.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assist in understanding and reporting on P&L variances,
  • Prepare monthly labour reconciliation files for analysis
  • Produce and maintain the Daily Labour Report,
  • Analyse PPV reports,
  • Maintain forecast file and update for actuals.

The ideal candidate for this role will be/have:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar, month end focused role is necessary
  • CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified ideally
  • Confidence and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in both finance and non-finance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
