We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a leading Top 25 accountancy firm known for its commitment to providing exceptional advisory and audit services. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, non-profit organisations, and clients in the education sector. This position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience, build valuable client relationships, and progress towards your professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support audit fieldwork, both on-site and remotely
  • Prepare key client deliverables, including Audit Findings Reports
  • Plan audit assignments, manage budgets, and perform analytical reviews
  • Supervise and guide junior team members, providing mentorship
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS102, and resolve technical accounting issues
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, collaborating with colleagues across service lines

Requirements

  • 3+ years of audit experience, with AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification or working towards it
  • Proficiency in UK GAAP, ISAs, and company law
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel for client assignments
