Sellick Partnership is partnering with a Local Authority to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant on a temporary basis.
I'm currently working with a Local Authority client who needs an experienced interim Finance professional to support them with 23/24 audit recovery work and help build assurance over 24/25 opening balances.
This is a great role for someone who's confident diving into detail and has solid experience using Technology One (Tech One).
The Responsibilities of the Finance Systems Accountant will be;
- Unpicking historic transactions in Tech One
- Tackling issues around debtors and bank reconciliations
- Supporting the team with audit queries
- Helping validate and cleanse financial data ahead of the new financial year
The Ideal candidate for the Finance Systems Accountant will have;
- Proven experience using Tech One, ideally in a public sector setting
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and audit prep
- A proactive approach to resolving complex transactional issues
