Macildowie Finance are excited to be partnering with a fantastic, fast-paced, highly acquisitive business based in Leicester. There has been significant business growth over the last 12 months and even more planned for the upcoming year, as such, they are looking to recruit for a Financial Accountant to support the business through the next stage of growth and transition.

This company is proven to develop and grow their employees, with the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of sub-areas within accounting.

They are also a very flexible business to work for, with 2 days being office based and 3 working from home.

Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining Balance Sheet reconciliations as part of the month end process
  • P&L review and analysis
  • Assisting with the review of Trial Balances
  • Assisting in the review of subsidiary and group accounts
  • Oversight of fixed asset register

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Part-Qualified, ideally studying towards finals
  • Flexible and adaptable mentality, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong and dedicated attitude to solve processes and learn new tasks
  • Logical and methodical way of working

This role is offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and level of qualification, plus a number of great additional benefits.
