We are delighted to partner with a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in their search for a Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented finance team and play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. Currently transitioning from Sage 50 to Sage 200, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in driving this transformation. This role is ideal for a driven finance professional aspiring to progress into an FD role in the near future, with a clear path for growth and development within the organisation.Key Responsibilities:

Manage working capital, including cashflow, debtors, and currency, with detailed 6-month cashflow forecasting.
Ensure accurate financial records, robust internal controls, and system integrity.
Monitor performance against budgets, focusing on gross margin, product, and customer analysis.
Lead project-based reporting to track progress, revenue, and costs against profit expectations.
Oversee month-end reconciliations, payroll processing, and cost management for efficiency.
Administer the accounting system, providing training and ensuring proper access.
Deliver timely financial reports and updates to stakeholders.
Support the FD with tax strategy, compliance, and return submissions.

Requirements:

Fully qualified CIMA professional.
Experience as a Financial Controller in an SME manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership of a finance team.
Ideally, experience with Sage and Power BI.
Must be locally based.
