Financial Controller

SF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a superb manufacturing business in central Leicester who are seeking a Financial Controller to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organisation. The Financial Controller will oversee a small team & report directly into the Managing Director & wider group.

Duties of the Financial Controller:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitor and analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders

Experience required:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) OR Experienced QBE Accountants
- Experience of a similar role within an SME Business
- Strong Financial Analysis & Reporting.
