If you are an experienced Financial Controller, looking for a great hands-on, commercially and operationally focused role with lots of depth, leading a key site for an established organisation with a turnover exceeding £200 million, we have just picked up a fresh opportunity that ticks all those boxes. 

Reporting into the Plant Manager, you’ll be a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and performance. This is not just a desk-based role—daily collaboration will be a crucial part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Reporting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; prepare and communicate reports and KPIs.
  • Cost & Budget Management: Monitor budgets, manage inventory reconciliations, and conduct product costings for new developments.
  • Capital & Asset Oversight: Manage capital projects, investment appraisals, and year-end inventory processes.
  • Process Improvement: Drive cost savings, support product launches, and contribute to site improvement programs.
  • Leadership: Coach and support cross-functional teams, applying IWS (Intersnack Work System) ways of working to promote operational excellence.

About You:

We’re looking for a fully qualified finance professional (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA) with:

  • Significant on-site manufacturing experience, including standard cost accounting and variance analysis.
  • Strong forecasting, planning, and budgeting expertise.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
