Robert Half are proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing, SME business based in Leicestershire, to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and overseeing a team of three. You will be leading the daily operations of the Finance department, handling the financial reporting and analysis, and contributing to improving the Finance function.
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Producing a detailed cashflow forecast
- Successfully developing and coaching a team of three
- Delivering daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial performance records
- Ensuring that the annual audit is conducted efficiently
- Reviewing month end balance sheet reconciliation
- Managing overheads, seeking efficiency's and savings
- Reporting on performance against budgets and forecasts
The successful Financial Controller will have the following qualifications and experience:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified
- Commercial Finance Experience
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Proven line management experience
- Competent utilising Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
