About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. With a core focus on Capex, this role offers significant exposure across the finance function, providing the successful candidate with a unique platform to develop their skills and advance their career within a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external reporting standards.

  • Oversee the capital expenditure (Capex) process, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Partner with project teams to ensure accurate accounting for capital projects and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to fixed assets, including reconciliations and journal entries.

  • Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations for fixed asset transactions.

  • Drive process improvements and contribute to the implementation of system upgrades related to asset management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly around fixed assets and Capex.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across the finance team and wider business.

  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a global organisation or listed business is highly advantageous.
