Our client is looking for a technically strong and hands-on Financial Controller to join them in a time of transformation and change. This candidate will be working effectively with the CFO to oversee and direct the company's financial operations, creating a solid foundation to support the organisation's growth.
Location: Leicestershire
Contract length: 6-month contract
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £500 - £600 per day
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller
- Oversee all accounting functions within the finance team for all companies
- Ensure all key deadlines and legislative requirements are met
- Day-to-day management of the finance team and their activities
- Monthly preparation of management accounts
- Monitoring and reporting cash flow
- Monitoring outstanding debtors
- Budget preparation
- Implementation of a new finance system and improvements to the existing control environment/systems
Key Essentials of the Interim Financial Controller
- Chartered Accountant (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Computer and IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite
