My client based in Leicester is looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join them on a 12 month FTC. As the Group Reporting Accountant you will support the Group Financial Reporting function with the deliver of key projects including improvement of the reporting controls and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide technical accounting support to finance projects
- Assist with the delivery of financial reporting
- Assist with controls and financial reporting enhancements
- Provide support to the Group Reporting team to deliver the financial statements for FY25
- Prepare financial management information and update papers for board and audit committee
- Involvement in other group projects
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- A good understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Experience of the operation and review of a financial reporting control environment
My client is offering hybrid working, 3 days a week on site in Leicester. They are looking for someone to start within the next 2 weeks and therefore will only be looking at candidates who are commutable to site and available within the next 2 weeks.
