Our client, a dynamic and growing SME based in Leicester, is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their team, this is a new role due to growth, reporting into the Financial Controller.As a Management Accountant, you will be instrumental in providing financial insights to a non finance stakeholder audience. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting and telling the story behind the numbers to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to guide decision-making.Oversee cash flow management and ensure financial stability.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.Continuously review and improve financial processes to ensure efficiency.Finance Business Partner to the operations teams.

Essential Skills & Experience:Part-qualified/Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).Proven experience in management accounting within an SME or similar environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software.Ability to partner with non finance stakeholders.
