Management Accountant
Location: Leicester
Full-time | Permanent | £45,000-£50,000 per annum

The role:
- Monthly reporting including preparation of monthly management accounts and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany account.
- Business partnering with management; responsible for budget preparation, cashflow forecasting, and providing KPI and variance analysis with commentary.
- Liaising with budget holders to ensure their understanding of the financial information
- Working with the auditors
- Production of quarterly VAT return
- Managing the accuracy and maintenance of the business’s cash flow forecasting model
- Processing BACS and CHAPS payments
- Production of ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Provide support and cover for colleagues across the Finance department.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
- Previous experience of a management accounts role.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Friendly, well organised with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Experience of communicating effectively with non-accountants.
- Excellent IT skills, including being highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Enjoys problem solving and finding innovative solutions to challenges.
