Job Title: Management AccountantLocation: LeicesterWe are currently recruiting for a talented and driven Management Accountant to join a growing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance, with the potential to progress to a Financial Controller role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Month End close process and ensure timely and accurate Month End Reporting.
  • Complete Balance Sheet Reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform Cashflow Forecasting and support in the development of financial plans.
  • Assist in the preparation and forecasting of the 3-Year Plan.
  • Produce and monitor Company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for effective decision-making.
  • Conduct Gross Margin and Stock Reconciliations.
  • Provide support for the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions during holidays and absences.
  • Assist with the Year End Stocktake and Audit processes.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proficient in Office and Accounting software (Sage experience is highly preferred).
  • Part Qualified or Fully Qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA - QBE also considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • A pro-active attitude and a keen desire to progress within your career.
  • A passion for finance and a drive to eventually become a Financial Controller.
