Management Accountant - 12mnth Fixed Term ContractWe're looking for a Management Accountant who also loves analysis to join a successful finance team based in Leicestershire. As part of a small team of accountants, you'll ensure accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, while providing insights to drive cost control and savings. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the business and Group subsidiaries to deliver financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Analysis & Reporting - Reconcile and analyse cost data across different business areas.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with finance, non-finance, and management teams.
  • Financial Reporting - Prepare and review P&L reports ensuring accurate forecasts and analysis.
  • Supplier Cost Management - Coordinate with AP and other teams to recover costs from suppliers.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Own expense budgets and analyse cost trends for business insights.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis - Assess additional cost areas and operational efficiencies.

What they are looking for:

  • Experience in finance including general ledger, management accounts, preparing and reviewing of p&l reports plus analysis
  • Ideally CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and proven business partnering abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • This is a 12mnth fixed term contract role initially, offering 2 days a week working from home after training
