Qualified Accountant - Accounting & Assurance ServicesPermanent | Full Time - 38.5 hours per weekLocation: LeicesterSalary: Competitive (DOE)

Butler Rose is currently working with a well-established and reputable independent accountancy practice in Leicester, who are looking to expand their Accounting and Assurance team with the addition of a Qualified Accountant.

The Role:This is a varied position where you'll work closely with a range of clients across different sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparing company and personal tax returns
• Preparing management accounts
• The potential to gain exposure to audit work
• Building client relationships and occasionally working on-site at client premises

About You:

• ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified - or qualified by experience
• Minimum of 3 years of practice experience
• Solid experience in management accounts preparation
• Confident using Xero, Sage, and IRIS accounting software
• Audit experience is a bonus but not essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Organised, commercially aware, and able to manage deadlines
• A team player who enjoys supporting and developing colleagues
