This full-time, permanent role offers an opportunity for an experienced accountant to work across various financial functions, including accounts preparation, tax, management accounts, and potential audit work. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships and may be required to work onsite at client premises when necessary.

Qualified Accountant Job Overview
  • Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across different sectors.
  • Preparing company and personal tax returns in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Compiling and analysing management accounts for clients.
  • Potential involvement in audit assignments where applicable.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, including occasional onsite work.
Qualified Accountant Job Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or AAT) or qualified by experience.
  • Strong management accounts experience.
  • Proficient in Xero, Sage, and accounts preparation/tax software such as Iris.
  • Audit experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Competent in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, commercially focused, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and develop colleagues.
  • Organised and deadline-driven.
Qualified Accountant Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £35,000- £45,000 but flexible based on experience.
  • Hybrid working (up to 2 remote days per week, subject to workload and team availability).
