Macildowie Finance are currently supporting a leading legal firm in the recruitment of a Revenue Controller.If you are a Qualified Accountant with experience of WIP and debtor reporting and would like to work for a firm that has achieved excellent growth and is planning to continue on that trajectory, then please reach out. Within this highly exposed and varied role you will work with a wide range of stakeholders including Partners and Directors providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis to support key business decisions.Key Responsibilities will include:Unbilled WIP and Debtor Reporting (Lock Up Reporting) - ensuring partners actively control and maintain WIP and debtors, while providing insights and analysis to Leaders, Partners, and Finance.Provide guidance on billing best practices to fee earners and secretaries, address queries, and identify training needs, while reviewing billing profiles for improvement opportunities.Regularly monitor WIP, disbursements, and debtors, hold meetings to review and resolve issues, prepare client statements, and ensure timely collection of payments. To be considered for this role you must be:ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified or actively studying towards completion of an accounting qualification.Have experience of WIP and Debtor reporting and analysis within a professional services firm, ideally Legal but wider professional services backgrounds will be considered.
