The role will give exposure to a wide array of accounting tasks and responsibilities, with the job role being flexible dependent on the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies for subsequent partner review
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Ad-hoc preparation of management accounts
  • Involvement in Audit engagements (dependent upon applicant preference)
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll
  • Answering and dealing with client queries

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice is a must
