Role: Senior Accountant
Type: Interim 2 - 3 months
Salary: £150 to £250 per day umbrella
1 to 2 days a week on site
Location: Leicestershire
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant for our Local Authority client.
My client is looking for the post holder to lead the dedicated team and ensure effective budget management and financial operations.
The Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will be;
- Monitor monthly revenue budgets, identifying and addressing concerns with Service/Budget Managers
- Ensure timely production and completion of all budgets
- Provide leadership to a team of 3 Business Accountants and 1 Accounts Assistant.
The Ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant will have;
- System implementation experience (ideal)
- Strong VAT knowledge (ideal)
- Proven experience in Local Government (ideal) or Public Sector (essential)
- Strong stakeholder management.
