Senior Staff Accountant12 Month FTC, LeicesterMonday - Friday 37.5 hours - Flexible hours£40,000-£45,000

Excellent opportunity for a senior accountant to secure a full time, 12 month fixed term contract role with a large international manufacturing company.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract role where you will support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

The Role:

*Ensure purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cash book are up to date and reconciled.*Complete month end processing: accruals, prepayments, travel expenses, foreign currency revaluations.*Preparation and submission of monthly group reporting *Monitor and review manufacturing variances and lead regular review meetings.*Quarterly VAT submission*Support the year end close & Audit, Income Tax submissions *Support with forecasting and budgeting process*Ensure payments are processed for Monthly pay, Pensions and other payroll payments.

The Candidate:

*Detail-oriented and efficient*Self-motivated with strong time management*Proficient in spreadsheets and ERP systems*Ideally holds a professional accountancy qualification*3-5 years of relevant experience
