We are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a 24-month temporary position with a well-known manufacturer in the building materials sector.
The role offers a salary of up to £125 per day PAYE and is based in Leicester with hybrid working options.
Key responsibilities include running reports, managing payment runs, credit control, and VAT returns.
Candidates should have experience in an administrative accounting role and possess intermediate Excel skills, with SAGE experience being desirable.

We are partnering exclusively with a well known manufacturer and building materials company in their search for an Accounts Assistant. This is a 24 month temporary role paying up to £125 per day PAYE. This role is based in Leicester and offers hybrid working, and is a great opportunity to work with a company working on an exciting, long term project.

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for running reports, journals, payment runs, credit control, VAT returns and other ad hoc activities.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience within an administrative accounting role (payment runs, running reports, journals etc)
Intermediate level of Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables etc)
Experience with SAGE is desirable
Experience working within an SME is nice to have
