FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a reputable SME based in the LE4 area of Leicester, not far from Thurmaston.
Working as part of a friendly & welcoming finance team, you will be responsible for an array of finance duties, ensuring accuracy and good comms with colleagues across all levels of the business. You will be reporting into a company Accountant & responsible for processing both Purchase & Sales Ledgers & supporting the Accountant during month-end. Ideally, candidates will be experienced using both Xero & MS Excel but this is not essential.
Duties Will Include
- Processing both the Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Supporting the production of accounts to trial balance
- Credit Control
- Payroll for around 100 employees on a monthly basis
- Checking, coding up and entering purchase invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements & making payments via BACS
- Dealing with copy invoices and supplier queries
- Monthly production of client sales invoices
- Adhoc tasks / reporting around month-end
