Administrator (Our Ref AL1313)

Salary £25,000 - £28,000 + excellent benefits

South Leicestershire - full time, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

An employed desk-based role, providing long term Administration support for a medium, friendly Independent Financial Services company, based in Blaby, Leicester. Will involve all aspects of Financial Services Administration, with emphasis on LOA processing and liaising with Advisers at every stage of the process. Experience in Financial Services is not necessarily essential, with enthusiasm and commitment in delivering a first-class service, to both clients and colleagues, being paramount. However, a minimum of 5 years Administration experience is required.

Duties:

  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, as required.
  • Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional and courteous manner.

· Follow appropriate ethical standards within the company at all times

  • LOA administration and processes.
  • Process new business applications.
  • Making of appointment packs.
  • Valuations.
  • Photocopying.
  • Letter writing.
  • Telephoning providers.
  • General administrative duties when required.

Ideal skills/experience:

  • Someone who has worked in an Administration role for a minimum of 5 years and thrives on a fast past and accurate data input environment.
  • Understanding of regulations/compliance advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to get to grips with, what might be an unfamiliar software package, e.g., our back-office system (Xplan).
  • Excellent customer facing interactions, good administration skills/phone manner and IT skills
  • Well-presented.
  • Self-motivated and organised, with a good work ethic.
  • Will take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and can achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Able to stay focused on tasks, despite distractions and interruptions.
  • Be an integral part of the team - a good communicator, willing to input new ideas and suggestions to improve process.
  • Flexible in their approach to work and processes. The right candidate should be able to adapt/evolve as working practices change.
