Leicestershire County Council is currently seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join the Adults and Communities Department, specifically within the Adult Social Care Finance Service/Section. This role is crucial for assisting the Appointeeship and Deputyship (A&D) team with the management of activities associated with a new banking platform, including data management and system maintenance.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work with various systems to enhance the quality of data held.
  • Maintain and update accurate computer records of actions taken to facilitate correct and timely completion of account transfers.
  • Provide general support to Manager
  • Undertake other duties within the scope of the job purpose and grading as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to ensure tasks are accurately completed and deadlines are met.
  • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • An appreciation of the sensitivity of service users’ financial and other circumstances.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with team colleagues.
