Temporary Regional Administration Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Temporary Regional Administration Support Officer to join our client's friendly and supportive administrative team. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch support to our membership teams across regional and district offices, ensuring an exceptional service experience for their members.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support: Assist the Senior Regional Administrator with diverse administrative tasks to support our membership teams.

Communication: Handle internal and external communications with developed IT and media skills, ensuring effective and efficient information exchange.

Data Management: Maintain databases, records, and filing systems, both manual and electronic, to support office operations within the region.

Membership System: Develop a thorough understanding of the membership system, generating and printing reports as needed.

Reception Duties: Perform receptionist tasks, including answering phones, taking messages, and addressing routine queries from members and colleagues.

Visitor Interaction: Welcome office visitors with courtesy and professionalism, managing general inquiries with ease.

Mail Handling: Sort incoming mail and emails, prepare and dispatch outgoing correspondence, and manage communication flows under the guidance of the line manager.

Proactive Engagement: Address incoming and outgoing queries and communications proactively, resolving issues efficiently.

Team Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with team members and colleagues to achieve team and organisation's goals.

Inventory Management: Keep track of stationery supplies, maintain clean storage areas, and manage printed materials for recruitment campaigns.

Meeting Coordination: Organise meeting room bookings and arrange catering for meetings as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A commitment to providing an excellent administration service and demonstrable experience within a similar role.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in IT and media communication tools.

The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.

A professional and friendly demeanour, especially when handling reception duties.

Hours of work: 9-5 Monday to Thursday and 9-4 on Friday

A competitive rate of pay (16-18ph)
